"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I'm just posting here to confirm that you are indeed the one attempting to sign up for the oekaki, since you don't have an email address here so I can't compare the email address that was used in the sign-up attempt to the one used in this dA account.
This is just a precautionary measure so art thieves don't make it into the oekaki. So yeah, if it's you that's signing up, I'll accept the sign-up and you can start drawing on the oekaki. If not, I'll reject the sign-up attempt.
